Zulymar Luciano is a contemporary photographer based in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida. Originally hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she developed a strong passion for the arts from a young age, using it as a means of self-expression and exploration. Zulymar obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies with a Minor in Art from Alverno College, where she nurtured her creative talents and honed her skills.

Throughout her life, art has been a constant companion for Zulymar. From interning at the prestigious Milwaukee Art Museum to creating small murals in Miami, she has continually sought opportunities to expand her artistic horizons. Raised in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Zulymar experienced the stark contrast between her inner self and her external environment. This juxtaposition has heavily influenced her work, as she draws from the emotions of her past and present life experiences, using her photography as a documentary of her deepest feelings and memories.

Recently earned a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Miami International University of Art and Design, Zulymar is fully immersed in her artistic journey. She is passionately working on her thesis show, using her studies to further refine her craft and explore new avenues of creative expression. Her dedication and commitment to her artistic growth are evident in the compelling narratives and evocative visuals she captures through her lens.

Beyond her work as a photographer, Zulymar is also an accomplished English teacher with over seven years of classroom teaching experience. Her enthusiasm and creativity in the classroom shine through as she creates engaging lessons and adapts her teaching style to cater to the diverse learning needs of her students. Zulymar’s dedication to her students’ growth and success is unwavering, making her a beloved and highly respected educator.
