A transformational leader and renowned strategist with over 20 years of experience in the area of youth development, Rudy Sablon is a proud founding member of The Motivational Edge. Mr. Sablon received his Bachelor of Science in Educational Leadership with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University in 2002. He was recognized as a Ziff Family Scholar recipient, named on the National Dean’s List, and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. In 2021, Mr. Sablon attained an Executive Degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Notre Dame University.

Since 2008, Rudy assisted in the foundational development of distinguished Florida-based non-profit The Motivational Edge, currently serving as the agency’s Head of Operations.

In this position, Mr. Sablon leads the non-profit organization to the forefront of youth development by developing the strategic vision while ensuring the mission continues to be a solutions-focused agency aimed at providing therapeutic & trauma-informed programming that builds confidence, improves academic achievement, and motivates those most marginalized to succeed.

Rudy has developed award-winning programs that have transformed entire communities. Accolades include being recognized in 2016 with a Distinguished Community Service Award by Hillsborough County Children Services for his efforts working with youth in residential treatment facilities. In that same year, Rudy was awarded a Community Service Award by Chapman Partnership for the Homeless for his continued and selfless work with youth & families in homeless shelters. Mr. Sablon has been a presenter for Florida’s Department of Children and Families Annual Child Protection Summit three years concurrently (2014-16). In 2016, Mr. Sablon was chosen by then City Commissioner Wily Gort, as one of two civilians to sit alongside the City Commissioners and the Mayor on the City of Miami’s Sports and Exhibition Authority Board. Rudy served as a site supervisor professor for Columbia University’s School of Social Work from 2016 – 2017. In 2020, Rudy focused his efforts in combating human trafficking earning credentials in dealing with Sexually Exploited Children, Children with Trauma, and Human Trafficking Victims.

As an entrepreneur and business leader, Rudy Sablon served as Chief Executive Officer for an educational consulting firm, working on a national level with various school districts that were deemed “in distressed” to provide programmatic evaluation and analysis. Mr. Sablon successfully consulted individuals, national initiatives, government agencies, organizations, and school districts to enhance performance. His efforts led to the expansion of his consulting firm across 8 states, in 25 cities with over 100 employees that served over 10,000 under-resourced children. This dedication earned him a distinction in 2014 from Weld County, Colorado for his successful commitment to youth services.

Prior to that, Mr. Sablon sat as CEO of a Las Vegas-based company, where he focused on acquiring and managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of growth-oriented companies. Mr. Sablon saw the development of a sub-company, which engaged in the development, testing, and patenting of various alternative and exotic energy products for marketing to the general public.
