Visual Artist

I am a performance-based artist who specializes in art installation, using sculpture, fibers and interaction as my media. Engaging the community to think, be empowered, and be aware are very important goals as I create my own art, as well as when I help to facilitate others in the creative art process. I believe when people work together to create a piece, they are also working together to empower each other. Collaborating brings people and their ideas together. It causes an unseen strength to arise, which is no longer residing in only one person, but in the group as a whole. The artwork is the process and the outcome.
