Advisory Board

Maya Bell is a writer and editor who, for 21 years, served as chief of the Orlando Sentinel’s Miami bureau, where she explored social justice issues, and, for 13 years, as senior editor in the University of Miami’s Office of Communications, where she focused on medical and other research. Now retired, she is a ReadingPals volunteer at the Motivational Edge and loves sharing the magic of books with K-3 children on Wednesdays.
