Lynne Cameron has over 40 years of experience in the media and public relations with a emphasis on community. Building collaboration and partnerships is her specialty. In June of 2020 she retired after 27 years as Executive Director of Neighbors 4 Neighbors, South Florida non-profit founded in partnership with South Florida’s CBS television station in 1992. Using a combination of on air stories, resource development, collaboration with service providers and the power of media, Ms. Cameron built an organization to empower our neighbors to use the talents, time and money they have to help their neighbors in need

Prior to joining Neighbors 4 Neighbors, Ms. Cameron had a long history in media and public relations. Her work has been recognized through numerous national, state and local awards. Among them, the National Association of Broadcasters Service To America Award, The Governor’s Hurricane Conference Award, the Public Relations Society of America’s Golden Palm Award, the Governor’s Emmy Award for Community Service, The Claude Pepper Memorial Award for Media Service, and Most Valuable Protector Award from Voices For Children.
