Roselor "Rosey" Fils-Aime is a Brooklyn, New York native who draws inspiration from Miami’s vibrant art, fashion and people. Her professional aspiration is to build children’s self-esteem and encourage understanding of cultural diversity, gender differences, and physical limitations.
Rosey received a B.S. in Elementary Education and concentration in ESOL from Florida Memorial University in 2014. Since then she has worked in various schools throughout the Miami Dade County Public School district, teaching and mentoring at-risk youth.
During the day, Rosey works as the Outreach and Intake Counselor for The Edge’s community partner at Pace Center for Girls Miami. She serves as their liaison in the community by creating partnerships with MDCPS schools, social services agencies, and local organizations to grow Pace’s enrollment and strengthen its retention.
In the evening, Rosey works as the Receptionist at The Edge. Her friendly and compassionate personality lights up The Campus and empowers the youth we serve. During her free time you can catch Rosey in the aisle of Ulta Beauty or obsessing over a new sneaker drop.
