Growing up in England, Rich was heavily influenced by European design and culture. Even as a child, he was infatuated with the motor car, especially high-end models like the Ferrari Testarossa, Ferrari F40, and Lancia Delta Integrale, to name a few. To indulge in his automotive hobby, he’d make it a point to continually visit Earls Court in London during the late Eighties and early Nineties with his father, where he was able to experience and relish the culture of the automotive industry at a very young age.
In 1997, Rich left the UK and headed to the U.S., landing in Miami, Florida, where he turned his passion into a career while working at a distribution center for JDM parts. His love then evolved to encompass the “tuner market,” which was the gateway to his true dream of designing and creating works of art with higher-end vehicles, such as Bentley, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. After years of grinding and hard work, Rich was given the opportunity to work with kidrobot as the first-ever automotive designer/artist for the popular brand, which was truly groundbreaking for someone who started in the automotive industry selling JDM parts.
Since then, Rich’s work has reached million and been featured in publications with more than 100 pages of editorial, including Ocean Drive Magazine, DuPont Registry, DUB Magazine, and Rides Magazine. Virally, he has been featured on TMZ, Yahoo, Elite Daily, and the Huffington Post. Clients range from athletes and entertainers to affluent businessmen. He also works heavily in the community to give back, and is on the Board of Directors for the Miami-based non-profit organization The Motivational Edge.
