Bianca Rodriguez was born and raised in Miami, FL. Her dream was always to teach. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in History and Latin American Caribbean Studies. She was a middle/ high school teacher for almost 10 years working with youth from multiple backgrounds and behavioral spectrums, certified in a variety of classroom strategies/ technologies, and managed a department for 3 years.
With the support of her family, Bianca decided to take some time off to travel the world, becoming a stay-at-home mom for her two children, and teaching them on how to become respectful world citizens. Later, she rejoined the work force and spent a year working at the History Miami Museum as a museum educator; giving educational tours to many children’s organizations (both school and non-profit), working at private events for the community, free family fun days, and outreach.
These skills eventually led Bianca to The Motivational Edge. She utilizes her “expertise” working with children in creating programs and procedures that are effective with all youth in an educational setting. Bianca is thoroughly enjoying her new position collecting and/ or using data for The Edge to further support in paving the way for the future of the organization.
